My daughter and her partner where house sitting while i went on holiday so i thought i would purchase a new double bed from my local Dreams store as i only had a single in my spare bedroom.The order and payment where taken in store and a 3 week delivery date was made. I was told they had both the mattress and bedstead in stock in the wharehouse.On the date of delivery no bed arrived and no phone call received. I had taken a whole day off work.I phoned the store just before they closed and was told it was out of thier hands and now down to the delivery company. When i contacted the delivery company i was told that they couldn't deliver a half order. Apparantly they had no mattress in stock. The next day i contacted the store to be told that now they had lost the bedstead. In the mean time my money was sitting in thier account for nearly 3 weeks. I eventually got the manager to call me back after waiting a further 2 days and he stated they had both the bed and mattress in stock in store. I was gobsmacked. Why couldn't they have delivered them from there in the first place. The only way he could get it to me was to hire a trailer for his own car on his day off and deliver it himself.He arrived with the wrong bedstead and had to return to the store for the correct one. He had bad attitude on arrival and made me help him in with it and left without saying a word. This arrived on the day of my holiday starting and i had to leave my daughter to fix it up. Never ever again would i use this store.
