I ordered a bunk bed and futon and was promised next day delivery at £15.99 but was told it would be the day after, not a good start! i received a delivery on the designated day and on checking it i found that i had received only half of the order Box 2 of 2 so where was box one! i rang the customer help line and after 23 minutes on hold i finally got to speak to someone, i was told that the missing box had not been loaded and they promised to get it to me first thing in the morning. The next morning (Saturday) came and went tried to get back on to phone them but there lines where closed so i emailed them and got this in reply

" Good Afternoon,

I apologise for the delay in getting back to you and that only part of the bed frame arrived. Both boxes were dispatched from our supplier, regrettably the delay have been caused in transit due to our courier misrouting the box to the incorrect delivery depot. This will be sent back through the network and should arrive with the correct delivery depot on Tuesday, this will then be automatically sent our for delivery on Tuesday. Unfortunately we are unable to guarantee the delivery day until the box is received at the correct depot.

Once again I apologise for the delays and inconvenience caused. This delay was unforeseen which is why we were unable to advise you sooner, Please do not hesitate to contact us should you require any further assistance in the meantime.

So the missing box was god knows where and would arrive god knows when!

They where closed Sunday so had to wait to Monday to call them, 17 mins on hold this time before i got to speak to someone, when i finally did they confirmed the missing box was at the wrong depot and when it came back through the system it would be delivered but they couldn't tell me when until it arrived back. I received a text at 10.00am Tuesday morning telling me that it would be delivered between 12.20 and 15.20 that day, there's nothing like short notice is there! so i managed to leave work early to get back in time. I arrived home at 12.15 only to find i had missed the delivery. So i phoned the delivery depot and was told he had attempted to deliver the box at 12.00 and was now and hour away so couldn't come back (i only missed him by 15mins so how could he be an hour away)i was they will most likely deliver it tomorrow but couldn't give me a time. i phoned bedroom world up again 7 mins on hold before i could speak to some one when i finally did i asked to speak to a manager i was told i couldn't because 'they where dealing with other queries' i asked for a call back and was told he would try but it wouldn't be likely he seemed very disinterested and stated there was nothing they could do it would come sometime tomorrow.

i have found this company to have appalling customer service terrible helplines and the promises they make mean nothing as they do not stick to them i personally would never use them again. i now have to try take another day off work or find somebody to sit in for an undisclosed amount of time on the off chance it will turn up tomorrow
