Bought a couple of luxury microfibre duvets over a year ago. Yes, lovely to start with but after a year both are lumpy with some areas having no filling at all left. Unusable now.

I found the 'review' link from my purchase email a year later and reviewed the microfibre duvet as they had requested. Funny how a truthful bad review isn't posted on their website isn't it. I wouldn't now use them again as they appear to be rather selective with the truth. And I certainly wouldnt recommend their microfibre duvets!

All our products are designed to last for years – so it sounds to us as if you’ve got a faulty product, for which we can only apologise. To back this up we ensure that all our products are guaranteed them for 10 years – so we will be more than happy to replace the duvet free of charge.

Dear DAPW

Thank you for your comment. As it says in my review, I own a couple (i.e. 2) of these duvet. Therefore I must have been extraordinarily unlucky to have received 2 faulty products, as both were as lumpy as each other after 18 months and both have now been replaced now by non-microfibre alternatives (polyester cotton - which you don't sell - and which have been excellent).

It's a shame your "10-year Guarantee" isn't more widely publicised. But perhaps if it was then other poor unfortunates may not have just shrugged off their unusable duvets and you might be out of business replacing them all.

And why do you still not display less favourable reviews on your website?

If you have updated the design of these "duvets" so that the fibres no longer clump together and there are no more bare patches, then I might have wanted a replacement. But as they are, I'd rather get a 'proper' duvet that is fit for purpose than one of your existing Microfibre duvets even if it's free.
