“Poor Customer Service”

I bought the Stanza 8.5 on their website with them saying it "Can be fitted very easily and quickly". When I came to getting a family friend to come and fit it he said we couldn't fit it because it doesn't have a back plate for the shower to attach to the wall and the only way we would be able to fit it is if we had tiles- which we don't. When we rang customer services they say they don't provide them with a back plate- so how are we going to fit it? They said they would give us a refund but... (read more)

I bought the Gainsborough Stanza 8.5 shower to replace an old Gainsborough shower that had been fine. The electrician who fitted it said it was the worst shower he'd seen regarding quality and predicted I'd have a lot of trouble with it. A few weeks after fitting, water started leaking from where the hose attaches to the box. Gainsborough said that at some point the hose must have been kinked or a hand been partially over the shower head, restricting the water flow and now I needed to buy a... (read more)
