Item: Barclays Junior BarclayPlus Children's Saving Account
I opened the Barclays Junior Plus account as it has best rate of interest in compare with other bank. This was definitely the best account for both mine and my son's needs.

If you want a reliable internet banking system then do not use Barclays Constant payment transfer problems. Bombardment of adverts for new products.

I found barclays to be rude on telephone, they were reluctant to give me an overdraft. You do get free internet banking with Barclays Student accounts but only a small overdraft and i found that when i went over my limit the fees i received were sky

Item: Barclays Telephone Banking
No idea of where you are in the queue when you call Barclays Telephone Banking. Spent ages (1/2 hour) waiting and had to give up. It is very difficult understanding the person on the end of the phone. Phone call quality is very bad.
Thinking of changing bank to one that has a better call
