PRIOR TO THIS WOULD BE 4 STAR.
Opened three saving accounts.
Moved my savings and paid in some cheques.
Paid a few bills & setup Payee's to my own accounts.
Then my accounts disappear with no call or anything.
Just come off the phone, the guy I spoke to sounded like a till operator.
Put me on hold and come back after 5 mins and said "There reviewing the accounts and no idea how long it will take".
What are they reviewing them for? No answer.
How long are we talking days? That's the thiing, she doesn't know.
I asked several things ended up just saying "I'll leave it then for now", said nothing, had to force 'bye' out of him.
There getting a complaint letter and a request for an immediate
'Final Response' letter recorded delivery. The FOS can deal with them,and I will ask for compensation for each day I cannot access my own money!
There's no Bank so you can't do anything.
Rubbish Customer Service - not even giving a reason or any sympathy.
I would advise anyone to do the same, each complaint taken on by the FOS is an instant £550 fee for them. The more people that complain, might make them actually employee Banker's rather than cashier's or people with customer service and care.
I WOULD AVOID THERE NEW CURRENT ACCOUNT. IT'S AN OFFICE WITH TILL OPERATOR'S INSIDE, NO TRAINING IN BANKING AT ALL.
