My wife just handed me her Tesco credit card statement, my payment of over £2000 is missing. She had to go out as she had an urgent appointment. I phone them and they won't even tell me if the payment was received even though I can tell them every payment I have made to her account every month for years, she looks after our kids at home so I have to pay it off every month.
I stated that I didn't want any other info other than if the payment was now in the account or if the money was lost so I could report it to my bank. After holding on the phone for 25 mins to their complaint department which shows how many complaints they get, someone finally engaged brain and helped me.
At Christmas I bought a new sofa so I wanted my credit limit increased even though they thought I earned £600,000 pa they would only increase it by a few hundred pounds. My wife's limit is 3 times mine and as I say I pay it off every month as she is a housewife!
I got rid of their savings account years ago because antivirus programs used to remove their cookie or security file (which I couldn't locate to exclude it) so very couple of months they would have to set up the online account again.
