I had 3 separate accounts at Santander and a CD. One account was for my niece, opened when she was a baby. When I went to take the money (only about $200 for he graduation) I was told by the manager that they would have to research the account. After trying to get hold of him by phone for 2 weeks I was told by a rude employee that they were only responsible for accounts back so many years. (I worked in IT at an Insurance company and a Mortgage lender - records are kept electronically forever). They didn't want to do the work and could care less about me as a customer. Closed all accounts immediately
