“Account block”

What a dreadful bank. I opened an account, and later tried to withdraw £100. This was not carried out, I phoned up several times to find out why and no one could tell me until I spoke to an adviser in a branch. I was told that a block had been put on my account due to 'suspicious activity'. I emailed the bank and was told that if I phoned the block would be removed. I did, and it wasn't as they needed photographic i.d. first. At least they paid me £10 to compensate for the phone calls. Still need to find time to go to my nearest branch.
