I had an Alliance & Leicester commercial account as a sole trader which was then taken over by Santander. Most of my banking is done online and the account has always been in credit. Generally no issues, but then I never needed to contact them. With the company growing we incorporated and so I tried to open a Ltd company account with Santander. It took 3 weeks and then they rejected the application without giving a reason. I talked to Lloyds TSB and has an account set up in 3 days.
Very poor, very disappointing.
