hsbc is appalling, their customer service is terrible. They have moved all their customer services to India and you spend ages on the phone, not being helped in the slightest to people who do not care. I went into the bank to try sort out my problem, which was initially because they have allowed me to have an overdraft without even informing me. They tried to justify this with you should get a text saying your bank needs to be in balance by a certain time that night- BIT LATE WOULD YOU NOT AGREE? If they had told me before I could go over I would have been a bit more careful, and on top of that then charging me a disgusting amount of money when it is not in balance. going into my local branch the man replied that there is not anything he can do about it and walked off- RUDE RUDE RUDE
If I can give you one piece of advice it would be to never join HSBC- any bank in the world would be better then this.
I am leaving today and can honestly say It'll be the best decision I've made in a long long time
