I have banked with hsbc for over 15 years. They used to be a great bank. About 5 years ago they went completely down hill. ALL of their customer service is in india now - you will spend over 2 hours on the phone with people who have no idea what you are talking about. The supervisors are just as inept as the operators. The online banking purposely shuts off your auto-payments without any notification & they could care less. They are solely responsible for wrecking my credit.
No other bank is as careless & unconcerned with their customers - none. You can send them letters, post reviews on their facebook page or any where else & they could care less.
Use TD bank or a credit union or anyone else really who has actual american or western customer service reps that care about customers.
Truly the worst company in the world. It's an incredible shame that there is no kind of oversight to shut this negligent bank down once & for all.
