Getting divorced, need to change Mortgage into one name from joint with ex wife?

Seriously do not waste your time explaining to HSBC.

They point blank refuse even though LTV good, salary more than required and interest rates low.

They give numerous reasons which can be proven unfounded, but still hold firm.

Most unhelpful bank ever by far.

  • Go into branch to be given a telephone!!!

We have had accounts with this bank since long before they were HSBC, I must admit they are constantly proving themselves to be 'not very customer focused' unless they are trying to 'sell' you a loan or credit card. Looking for a half decent bank to move to.
