People often only write these reviews when seriously cheesed off. I passed that point with HSBC months ago but today wanted to read some of the reviews others had made. Inspired me to add one!
I got some bad service with my old bank of 25 years, and so opened an account with HSBC. Wasn't that easy but they gave me a nice account and some facilities (like an overdraft facility). After a year or so, I started to use the OD. Paid the monthly min fees and kept it like that. Then the letters and calls started and now they are withdrawing the £2k OD and closing/moving my account! Talk about fair-weather bank partner. Never missed a payment but now I have to spend time finding another account to settle up with HSBC. Thanks a lot for nothing. Glad I kept my old bank going now.
