I have banked with Barclays for a number of years, over 20 in fact, but find their current attitude is stupid. 

Yesterday I waited in the Kettering branch for over 20 minutes to make a payment. There were 2 cashiers on tills, and a queue of people waiting. There were at least 10 employees, just wandering about, obviously doing what they thought was more important, like filing, stapling bits of paper, and avoiding making eye contact! 

Not one would jump on a cashiers desk. This is shocking attitude! Whatever happened to customer service? 

Well believe me I shall vote with my feet.

The customer keeps these people in work. What is going on? 

Shame on you Branch Manager for promoting such an attitude.
