Had been with Alliance-Leicester for over 12yrs.( Who I NEVER had trouble with ) Gradually,Santander took over. I set up and ALWAYS check my transfers & standing orders. On EIGHT occassions, Santander have paid the transfers or standing orders TWICE, on the same day to the same accounts!
Apparantley, it's my fault! I know for a fact it isn't. Like I said to them, why would I want to pay the same bill, for the same amount, twice no the same day?
I have tried getting my money back. According to them they have no record of my complaints. The messages on the online banking, in my account, that are ususally kept for 90 days, have mysteriousley disappeared!
If I hadn't have had any spare money in my account, I would of been charged £35 for each failed transaction.
I'm determined to get my money and close my account.
Seriousley think carefully before you even think about joining this bank!
