For years I have bought cheap baking sheets and roasting tins only to end up throwing them away because the coating has flaked or they are so bent out of shape nothing cooks evenly anymore. I did some research and discovere that Delia Smith uses Mermaid bakeware. If it's good enough for the queen of cooking then I can't go wrong. I requested some for Christmas last year and the companion trio was amongst what I received. It's perfect for two people, a flat baking sheet, a deeper tin and a slightly shallower tin. All can be stacked up in the cupboard and even oven when cooking and because they are slim I can fit all three on one shelf of my oven. It's great for small roasts as there is no need to balance everything and find out there is no extra room on the shelf. They were not very non-stick at first but now I've used them a bit they are great, I'd always advise oiling a little anyway in case. Also I can use any utensil I like without worrying that I might scratch a coating as there is none. They might be a litte more pricey then standard bakeware but they claim to last much longer.
