I've been the unwilling recipient of multiple junkmails from this company for several months now. Although I have opted out (when the actually have an unsubscribe link) many times, I've e-mailed and called them on their premium rate number, the junkmail keeps on coming. One gets the impression that they don't care if they offend people, they don't care if they break the EEC e-mail regulations and they don't seem to have any morality or ethics. The UK Information Commissioner currently has the company under investigation and hopefully some action will be taken soon. On this basis, I would urge potential customers to think seriously before doing any business with Jean Patrique. What A pity that I could only select one star for overall rating, they don't even deserve this.

Unlike the 3 posters before me, I received my pizza stone within a week of ordering, despite them telling me it would be 3 - 5 weeks due to "excessive demand". I admit that I haven't used it yet and this is due to the poor instructions. It says to pre heat to 250 degrees but not whether celsius or fahrenheit. If Fahrenheit, my oven only goes to 220 and if Celsius that equated to 130 which seems very low. Also, the instructions don't tell me not to use washing up liquid etc which can apparently leach into the stone and taint food in the future.Only picked that one up from reading other reviews about pizza stones. So; delivery time excellent, instructions could be improved.

I foolishly ordered a pizza stone from this dreadful company and surprise surprise it never arrived! After 9 weeks, I emailed them on 6 occasions. They consistently denied all knowledge of my order - despite me sending them the email confirmation that they had sent me confirming my order and successful payment. I called their so called customer service centre and spoke to the rudest of all people called John, who told me the problem was with PAYPAL - even though I gave him the PAYPAL confirmation number which confirmed that they'd received my payment. Service is appalling - don't ever be tempted by their alluring, but false claims!

bought a pizza stone from jean patrique, seemed like a good deal, when it arrived it was smashed to pieces. Phoned jean patrique who told us to send it back at our expense £8.98, they would replace the broken stone and refund the cost of postage. After several weeks heard nothing contacted jean patrique again only to be told by a telephone representative that they had not recieved it and could not do anything about it although we have proof of postage. cnclusion I have now spent over £28-00 for a pizza stone I never had.

I ordered a pizza stone over three weeks ago. I emailed them a week ago and I was advised that it had been despatched via DHL and I would have it between 5-10 days. I suggested that they did a DHL track on it.
After 10 days I emailed them again to advise I still had not received it. This time I was advised that it had been despatched by Royal Mail. I emailed back and asked why I had been told it had been despatched by DHL. They emailed me back and apologised and said it had been despatched by DHL and they could only think it had been lost. They said they will send out a replacement.
I'll see if and when I get it!

Common sense says it's 250 Celsius. If using a fan oven you can reduce the temp by about 5C.
