The smallest and most affordable vehicle in the BMW range has proved a huge hit since its launch in 2004. This 5-door hatchback replaced the 3 Series compact range. During its first full year on the market in 2005 the BMW 1 Series became one of BMWs most successful cars with 149,493 units sold. BMW launched the 1 Series as the only rear wheel drive in its class. By 2006 BMW sold 22,033 1 Series in the UK, 19 per cent of all BMW sales. A compact model, it was powered by both gas and diesel four and six cylinder engines. A three-door hatchback model was added in 2007 and along with revised 5 door versions a coupe and coupe convertible variant are also being planned.

Item: BMW 1 Series 120d M Sport
The BMW 120d M is on of the best small cars I have ever driven in terms of pure driving pleasure, it goes where you point it, no matter how hard you are driving. Its green, 58 mpg, the right emissions, so youre doing your bit for the planet as well.
The ride can only be described as hard and unforgiving but its an M so this is what should be expected. Read the stats, for a diesel this car will surprise many in terms 0 to 60? Find out! 177 bhp. This is not a family car.

Bit confused about the mpg's of the BMW 118d. 60 is for extra urban - you'll get it no probs on the open road at a steady speed. I get a reasonable 53 mpg's out of it which Im delighted abou

Item: BMW 1 Series Coupe 120d SE
I have added a few extras to my BMW 1 series, like the sports seats and the M Sports suspension. The SE comes with nearly all the extra bits you could want life climate control and rear parking sensors, however the little bit of extra zing comes at a price on what is already way more expensive than its rivals.
It does drive and handle wonderfully. It flies through the revs and you have to be careful not to red line it in the first three gears. My wife borrows the car once a week and she loved ...

Young ambitious male ,single and/or without kids, I don`t need the a saloon but I want a car and not the 1000th time variation on a hatchback, I got the kashmirsilber with 18 inch 5 star allooids, xenon, exec and sport suspension, 120d, the price quality ratio to 123d is 6000 'in Holland while the achievements can also be matched with a single trip to the local tuner and for about 700 'you get 200bhp a torque of 400nm, 7.0sec to 100kmh /230kmh/h.
