The Audi S8 is a high-performance version of the Audi A8 executive car. It was introduced to the European market in 1998, four years after the A8. Early first generation models featured a re-tuned, 340 PS (335 hp/250 kW) V8 engine, standard quattro 4 wheel drive, large wheels and upgraded tires, enlarged brakes, upgraded looks and increased performance. Second generation models from 2006 onwards were even more awesome with a 450 bhp (340 kW) 5.2L V10 FSI engine derived from the 5.0 litre V10 used in the Lamborghini Gallardo. The latest 2007/2008 Audi S8 models are the best yet though offering state of the art luxury combined with an array of sporting extras and an enormous 5.2FSI engine.

All in all the Audi S8 quattro is one of the best cars I have had, which inclue 996 turbo, E55, M5, Cayenne Turbo, 745 and others.
The best build, exceptional interior with great usability. Understated but slightly aggresive looks.
I use this car for motorway miles for work, transporting family about at weekends and blast when i'm in the mood. Have even outrun a bentley flying spur and that has 540BHP.

The price I paid for my Audi S8 4200 second hand (10K for a car that was 70K 6 years ago- ouch!), incredible engine that also looks amazing nestled under the bonnet- top drawer interior and exterior quality- the gloss in the top coat lacquer after 6 years is unbelievable- looks like it's just been driven out of the showroom and I intend to keep it that way. This is the sort of vehicle that turns heads and gets you noticed- even it it is nearly 7 years old now. The rarity value of an S8 is ...

I purchased this Audi S8 4200 Executive Car used - saving myself a bundle (50% off in 1 year - the only downside I can think of!)
Even if you bought brand new, you could not be disappointed - super car performance - hot hatch handling - luxury cruising - this car is everything to all drivers - road rocket - or luxury cruiser - cannot rate this car highly enough!
The dealers are not quite top draw, but this car amazes everyone who goes in and do not believe how little it ...
