Audi S4 is a high performance sport version of the Audi A4, available as saloon, estate and cabriolet. The name S4 was originally given to the sport version of the Audi 100. Audi introduced the S4 in 1991 as the performance version of the re-styled Audi 100 saloon, offering above average acceleration and performance and a sportier image. Audi dropped the 100 name and rebadged it as an Audi A6 in 1994. The second generation Audi S4 debuted in 1997 offering 62 mph in 5.6 secs, developing its reputation as one of the best performing saloons in the world. It became available in three body styles for the 2004 model year with a more muscular shape plus a powerful V8 engine. Latest models, including saloon, estate (avant) and cabriolet and featuring quattro permanent four-wheel-drive, confirm the Audi S4 as an impressive vehicle with a formidable reputation.

This car is amazing in terms of power and drive. But I think it would have been a better car if it had:-
1. Same Breaks as Audi RS4
2. An option to detatch the phone holder and still have bluetooth. The Bluetooth cradle accepts old phones. But the bluetooth works with any phone.
3. Needs 19" RS4 Alloys not 18" S4 alloys
However
1. Bluetooth works with N95.
Not enough back legroom for a big car.
2. BMW M5 has larger cabin ...

I have had my Audi S4 4.2 V8 Tiptronic Sports Car for about 8 months and have already covered over 20k miles and every one was a pleasure. There are not many cars that can do everything like the new S4; corner well, accelerate very quickly, cruise on the motorway all day and give you the reasurance of the German Build Quality. I know there are faster cars, that are cheaper but for a seriously quick car that you can use everyday, the S4 (in my opinion) wont be ...
