Audi's entry into the hybrid, premium SUV category has been successful since its launch in 2006. The Q class was an entirely new class of vehicles for Audi who somehow missed the boat during the burst of popularity of this type of luxury SUV in recent years. Better late than ever though and the Q7's combination of high-tech engineering and quality specification has ensured the strong sales have continued throughout 2007 and into 2008. Audi describe the Q7 as the ultimate expression of their Quattro permanent four-wheel-drive technology, designed to offer advanced handling both on and off road. The Q7s powerful engines can manage 62 mph in up to 6.4 seconds, along with a maximum speed of 155mph.
