Owned Audi A4 1.8T Quattro Sport for 8 years and put on about 145,000km. Replaced all coils twice, one at a time, that's 8 breakdowns. As part of this I twice had to be trucked home - once about 400km. Oil pump failed at 60k - fortunately no other damage there. Dash failed at 140k - dials went haywire. From week one the car had an intermittent management system failure and would lose all power on hills under load - you had to turn the ignition on and off to get accelerator response again. What ...

The Audi A4 Cabriolet Sport 1.8 T 163 PS 5 speed Looks good. Very good at routine servicing reminders
Don't ask for retro fitting of electrics - they can't do it - Reversing sensors never fitted and alternative Audi garage (5 months of trying to get it fixed) described Audis attempt as the "wiring has been ripped out"
Audi assist poor
If it breaks down problems getting it into a garage even if help line orgainses this you may still get refused by the agreed garage, They cleaned it and ...

Item: Audi A4 Avant SE 2.0 TDI 140 PS 6 speed
Having handed back a Honda Accord Tourer to collect my new Audi A4 I am alarmed at the difference in size and practicality. The car is really small, can't even fit sunglasses in the holder. No storage space in the boot at all other than around the spare wheel. This means when the dog is in the boot there is no room to carry anything else unless it's on a seat.
The SD card slot does not work with the capacity card stated in the manual, dealer just shrugged his shoulders. Whilst the build ...

I have a 53 plate 1.9tdi 130bhp on a triptronic/auto with sports mode. Delightful car which is nippy as well as comfortable. Really economical and smooth on motorway and sticks to the road on high speeds. Excellent handling on normal roads too. Also when cold in morning, the pick up is not effected unlike loads other diesels I have drove. Has sufficient space inside as well as the boot, this is coming from a 6ft 3inch lad. Cant fault this car, have had it for nearly a year now and beside ...
