I bought a top of the range twintop 2.0 turbo from the Arnold Clark Glasgow branch in November 07. As the windbreak comes as standard with this model and there wasnt one when I picked up the car the salesman said "i will order you one from Vauxhall". Two weeks later i called to find out if it was in, i was told there was a backlog (lame excuse) Called two weeks after that and was told by the salesman that his boss has refused to provide the windbreak (even when it comes as standard with the ...

I went looking a for a car at the AC on Alison street after having a look round. The dealer took me on a test drive in the model I was looking for and I was liking the car - he then tried to sell me the demo model I had just been driving, which would have been okay if it had not been for the age (a year old) and the price (1k more than I had seen for a pre-reg new). I declined politely, and he let me leave without too much fuss.

After half an hour we decided to go and look at other garages accross the road, this didnt go down well and he walked away. We went back an hour later and decided we would ...

I purchased a 17 month old Renault Megane Coupe Convertable 3 weeks ago from Arnold Clark in Motherwell. I knew the car I wanted, the spec and mileage and the price I was prepared to pay so when they had the exact car I wanted I went in and basically told the salesman the deal I was looking for. After much "checking with his manager" the salesman agreed to all my requests and I even got 6 months road tax as well because the car only had 1 month to go and a tank of petrol. Everything was going ...

I bought my car last week after seeing the Real Sale at Arnold Clark advertised in my local paper. - everything went so smoothly I thought i'd share my experiences. Before going to the branch i logged onto the Arnold Clark website to see if they had anything in my price range (just had a new baby so things are tight). i also wanted something really reliable and safe with having a baby. The site was pretty good compared to some of my other local dealer chains and i saw three actual cars that ...
