I bought my Barnett Quad 400 about 2 months ago, only the crossbow, and i bought it used from the local pawn shop, i paid 250 for it, then i started reading all the reviews, a ton of bad reviews and a handfull of good, so i thought to myself, if its as bad as they say it is why wouldnt they recall it? I decided to give it a try, i bought a UTG Crossbow 4x32 pro 5-step recticle scope for 65 bones, i got the Bowja Magnum Limb Dampener (because of all the bad things people were saying about limb breakage) for 17 bones, 6 Gold Tip Laser II bolts with 110 grain brass weights for 33 bones, a set of Muzzy 100 grain 1 3/16 cutting circle 6 pack Broadheads for 32 bones, and an Excalibur cocking string (hasn't been needed yet, but never know what will happen) for 26 bones, had it chronographed for FPS and its sitting at 344 FPS, ITS A BEAST!, my friends and i have practiced quite a bit with it and i know have put atleast 100 bolts through it, i havent had any issues AT ALL with it, we all like it so much, my friends are planning on buying one for themselves, its so easy to use we had my friends 10 year old daughter shooting it also, we love it and i cant wait to take my 1st deer ever with it.
