“McAfee, Great for NOT detecting and STOPPING viruses”

Received a virus on my machine today, McAfee did nothing to say about it trying to get onto my machine, allowed it right past its own security barriers, installed itself and then McAfee had the cheek THEN to tell me I had a virus on my machine, to which it closed the McAfee security system and tried to initiate its own, If I hadnt have noticed and immediately turned off the machine, it could have done more damage. People, both employees at McAfee and on here maybe thinking, well was it up to date? Well Automatic Updates ARE on and it checks for updates every 5 minutes...
Still even AFTER I booted my pc into safe-mode with networking, McAfee still didnt think there was a problem, luckily Malwarebytes came to the rescue and removed it.

Recommendation: Don't Bother wasting your money on this, buy Norton instead, never had any trouble out of it so far!
