Ordered sample for creams and serrum and had already ordered another creams and serrum already, but after I saw got charged £200, for first delivery decided to check why.. Read the Terms guys. So immediatelly returned second delivery with all original packaging and without even opening. And still got charged £200, after trying to e-mail them I was told that I am not cooparating with them and they cant do anything. Stay away from this company to save your money and nerves!… Read Full Review

Written on: 10/06/2015 by Toby1945 (1 review written)

Do not under any circumstances use this company for the 14 day trial. I filled out a survey and ordered a sample. It arrived broken and I emailed them to tell them. A few days later another arrived but although the product was satisfactory I decided to return it and cancelled my repeat order on their website. Their terms and conditions state that the product need to be SENT before the time is up, but I was charged the full price before I did. Essentially anyone who orders a trial will be… Read Full Review

“Buyers Beware”

Written on: 16/05/2015 by FranciscaBye (1 review written)

This product is sold by trickery under the guise of a "Free Trial Offer." The creams are ordinary drug-store quality moisture creams, and are not worth the $149.95 they will charge you. The details of their "Terms and Conditions" are not evident on the Free Trial Ads, and the company name does not show on these ads. There are many consumer sites with many consumer complaints about this company. I am surprised that they are still able to conduct their business this way, without some kind of… Read Full Review

“Terrible don't buy!!!”

Written on: 30/04/2015 by Keaton378 (1 review written)

Please don't buy from this company. They trick you into thinking that you are getting a free product. When in fact you are agreeing to a subscription that will commence 14days after you receive the products. If they get your monies I'm afraid that you will never get your money back again. Customer services are well trained to have you running around in circles. Please write your reviews so people can be fore warned. DONT BUY FROM THEM. Mrs Holness… Read Full Review

I was offered this product as a free gift with another purchase I made with Walmart for the cost of shipping. the product arrived several weeks later and I was charge $149.95 within one more week. I was able to contact the customer services to cancel the monthly cost. They would only comply once I told them my lawyer. I am reporting this as a fraudulent company as they do not state their policy clearly. Worse is that I do not even like the product and would have never ordered the product to try.

Written on: 30/04/2015 by Barton270 (1 review written)

GRRRR - as the previous writer says be warned it is not a free trial, or a special offer. It is a way to get you signed up to buy their products and they take the money directly from your account. If I had know this I would never have done it. You don't get to see the T & conditions until it's too late and then there are 10 pages of them. I'm so angry that I fell for it… Read Full Review

You can de-activate the replenishment on their websites using the codes they sent you on the shipping emails. Change the preferences on your account they have created.

I filled in survey & at the end they said I was suitable to trial their cream. They said I would report on the cream & pay only the postage, I ordered it. I looked on the internet & saw people had been charged extortionate amounts which were withdrawn from their credit or debit cards without their knowledge. I was lucky I cancelled my credit card so they won't get money from me. I emailed them & told them not to send me the product. Beware do not order Stemologica… Read Full Review

Hi, I have just done the same...unfortunately my product has already arrived and was left outside in the rain (by whoever delivered it) so it's not in great condition. I have cancelled my bank card and called them up, they said I need to post the cream bak and they won't take anymore money. But you get nothing and I will have payed for postage both ways...I would be interested to know if you have any more incidents with them or if this the end of the matter. I will also update on here. My bank said they shouldn't b able to take any more money but no guarantee! Let's hope they don't try! I would love to hear from anyone else and what there story is?

Hi I've just been caught by this too and not sure what to do. I have cancelled my card and had it replaced but it was a debit card and worried they will get money from me if I don't send the products back. The boxes arrived damaged also and from these threads this seems to be way so the company can say they weren't returned in original condition. Did you send the product back? Did you also have any repercussions from this? Any help and advice would be gratefully received. thanks.

Breathlesshush's Comment

I completed a survey for the Environment Canada website...yes, a GOVERNMENT run site, and fell victim to the Stemologica/Beautemer trick. The option on the survey site said the ONLY charge would be a $2.95 shipping fee - I realized right after I hit "submit" and saw the charges ($11 for each, total $22) that something was fishy. I IMMEDIATELY messaged them and told them to cancel both orders (I sent a message on the Stemologica site AND one on the Beautemer site). They emailed me FOUR days later and said it was too late to cancel as the products had already been shipped, then went into the whole "return within 14 days or you'll be charged" spiel.
I was livid! I replied saying that was ridiculous, I cancelled the order within minutes of submitting it, there was no way it had already been shipped. I then received a reply stating they would be happy to give me the products at the long-time subscriber "special" price of $89.95 instead of $169.95.
It took 3+ weeks for the products to arrive (past the 14 day trial window, go figure). When I opened it and read the packing slip (btw, no invoice was enclosed, only a packing slip with NO prices anywhere!), the date of shipment was 14 days AFTER their first email reply to me, which was 4 days after my cancellation message. So, the CSR directly LIED to me when she claimed it had been shipped already.
Then, they charged my card $169.95. Was I mad? You better believe it! I emailed them and at first they said too bad, you agreed to the terms, I pointed out that I was told I would be charged ONLY (HA!!) $89.95 and they damn well better refund me a minimum of $80. After threatening to report them to the Better Business Bureau as well as the Government of Canada they finally agreed and refunded me $80. I did have to cancel my card through the bank (visa debit) and the bank refunded me $169.95 so in the end I came out on top.

If you threaten to report them you may be able to recoup some of your money, but you have to be persistent and make sure you know how and who to report them to or they won't take you seriously.

“Ordered/Cancelled and still they sent me product!”

Written on: 06/02/2015 by Roblesbx90 (1 review written)

I ordered this as I thought it was a sample ... I have sensitive skin and didn't want to be paying for something that was going to irritate. After I ordered I read more - this is not a sample but a trial and after 14 days they charge you £97. If you do not elect to opt our of the auto select they also send replenishment packs on a monthly basis. I immediately cancelled it by sending a message via their contact us form which is easily accessible. Today two days later the package arrived. I… Read Full Review

I answered a few questions on a WALMART site so I figured it was legit so I paid the shipping and was charged twice from 2 different companies. They are rip off merchants and make their money from people like us who think a trial offer is exactly that - a trial, not signing up for £70 per month. Do not use Stemologica
