Up is really an incredible film: it's realistic and with a hint of magic (it's not everyday that you see houses flying attached to balloons). The main characters are a grumpy widower that never accomplished his dream (Carl) and a little boy from a divorced family (Russell). There are also a dog named Dug and a giant bird helping in the adventure.
The film is all about life facts, love, drama and specially, friendship.
It shows how Carl (the old guy) discovers that he can't live in the past but enjoy the moment, thanks to the help of a child (Russell).
It's a perfect example of Pixar movies. It's suitable for children but it has a deep meaning.
