    Dark Angel Series 2 is a lot more action packed and intense than the first. Answers are revealed about manticore and characters but even more are found. Max is more powerful and there are more trangenics in the city.

    This is the year that the show was required to stand on its own two feet. With Buffy the Vampire Slayer switching networks there were no crossover plots allowed during this season. By this point however, the show had got so good that it did not need any help from Buffy.

    This series builds on the success of the first, and gets even better, establishing itself as a standalone show.     If you are a fan of the series 'Buffy the Vampire Slayer' then you will be a big fan of the spin off 'Angel'. That being said it is not imperative to have a background in Buffy in order to enjoy this series.
