  24x7 Travel service was the reason I got american express centurion black. But my experience is pretty much the same as quite a few of the other reviews here - it is just not as good as it ought to be. To be honest, the customer service on my no-cost virgin Amex from MBNA is just as good. Worth £600 but not worth the £1,800 they now want. And there are so many different Amex cards now, I'm no sure anyone knows it ' s their top-tier ...

  I have an American Express Centurion card but over here when I fork it over no one really knows what it is. They say things like "ooh thats heavy" but they dont seem to know what it is. I wouldn't say here that closed doors open but maybe I am also not that great at asking what they do for Centrion card holders or waving it around.
