“Poor website ordering and many exclusions on "Warranty"”

★★☆☆☆

written by on 06/11/2013

I was looking for some cheap alloys to use as winter wheels.
I saw a deal for 25% off the Wolfrace RRP which was 50% off what the usual dealers are charging so so check prices. I ordered from a tyre outlet and got free delivery from Germany.
I tried to register on the Wolfrace website for the 5 year warranty and had errors and couldn't submit the form.

Looking at the T&Cs they state:
Please ensure that you clean your wheels at least once a week.
Where possible, allow your wheel's to cool thoroughly before cleaning.
Please only use warm water or a Wolfrace Approved wheel cleaner such as Wolfrace Waterless Wash & Shine or selected turtle wax products i.e. TheTurtle Wax Ice Range.
IMPORTANT! Always use wheel cleaners as per the instructions on the bottle and/or packaging.
Never use an acidic wheel cleaner.
Never jet wash your wheels specifically the centre decals.
Please try to avoid curbing your wheels as damaging the surface lacquer can increase the chances of wheel corrosion.

I then tried to order some locking wheel nuts - again the wolfrace website failed. I emailed asking for someone to call - They didn't. Emailed back saying that there were problems with the website and to fitt in all fields.
Only positive was the locking bolts were only £ 10 delivered and arrived the next day.

Hi - we had some issues with our online accessories shop which have now been fixed - as long as customers fill out the form in its entirety there will be no problems.
The points above are not terms and conditions of warranty - they are suggestions of how you should treat your wheels to keep them looking good!
