We have been on four cruises with airtours. Two on the Carousel and two on the Sundream. Most memorable points was the wine and dinner waiters on the Carousel recognised us from the first cruise and on our arrival for our second cruise on the Sundream the cabin steward told me the number of the cabin I was in from the first cruise. What better service can you have than on a Suncruises holiday. The stewards were always game for a laugh yet very attentive and respectful. Heres for the day when ...

Well here we are again, another Airtours Sun Cruise aboard the MS Carousel, we booked with this ship because of the flights from Manchester, they only had availability for this one left. We would have liked to had sailed on another liner like the Sunbird, which we have been on before. Anyway, the cruise itinerary took us from Palma, on to Cadiz in Spain. It was the Sunbirds maiden voyage in June 1999 and also my Husbands surprise 60th birthday. We did it in style and thoroughly enjoyed it. I've mentioned the Sunbird to everyone and it's an experience never to be missed. We were going to book our holiday on the Sunbird in 2002 but unfortunately I lost my husband. But I've still got all those wonderful memories of a holiday of a lifetime.

Nothing spectacular about this Sunbird cruise but it was an above average holiday. It was a bargain price and had great entertainment, sights, tours and food. The only problem was a few of the staff. Usually the waiters were young, male, foreign - Filipino, Malaysian, etc - and some were very flirty and over-familiar with single women. But that wasn't too bad if you can learn to ignore them. It was the young English male entertainment staff that were worst. They acted like louts towards any ...
