Flew out and back from Luton with Easyjet at the end of July. This airport has fallen far behind Manchesters, East Midlands, Stansted etc. and has all the ambience of a cattle shed. Is shows its 1960s charter airport heritage all too well. Our departure gate comprised a corridor with no seating and passengers for other gates stepping through the queu overs bags and passengers. Arrivals is little better with long queues at passport control. Short stay carpark had several barriers out of use and the others blocked with customers querying charegs and trying to exit. I see a £100Mil reconstruction is on the cards. Not before time.
