Shocking place, horrible security staff. The security staff look more of a criminal risk than the passengers! How crazy is that?

They have no people skills, cant smile, are inarticulate and well just basically stupid and rude and uneducated.

Its a tacky nasty little airport that is living in a Beatles timewarp and needs to wake up. manchester airport must be laughing their heads off at this place - its doing a great job in sending passengers to manchester in future. the car parks, on each of my 3 visits have always failed to recognise that ive prepaid on entry. when you press the attendant button you a greeted with a rough voiced Jim royle soundalike with no people skills whatsoever. They bark at you as if they are doing you a favour by allowing you to effectively pay their wages! Basically you are dealing with scum.

All in all its just what we should expect from a city that loves to feel its an outsider and that everyones against it all the time - with its victim mentality. The most workshy place in certainly the Uk and probably europe is doing a wonderful job in perpetuating its image to the outside world
