this transfer was booked and paid through Expedia - It was for a mini bus for 7 people.
Expedia had said that we would be e mailed by the firm to check details. Not having received this I sent Viajes Urbis an e mail with full details. I had to send 3 times before getting a response - one word - Confirmed! I later found somewhere on their site which had our return details but not our transfer to hotel details. Tried a phone call - 2 days before trip. a brusque lady said everything was ok - I didn't need additional confirmation - I had my transfer slip.
At the airport I showed this, and was told in the rudest of ways that the booking was only for 1 person (at cost £122 ?!!) - I showed the various e mails sent clearly showing mini bus for 7 - I was told I should have telephoned to confirmed. When I said I had and showed the details for that - the lady really got mad and told me to stand aside so that she could deal with other people!! My group went outside because as my granddaughter said I didn't like hearing her be rude to you granny. Eventually she got 2 taxis for us and sent us off without another word.
During the drive to my horror I noticed that our taxi had the meter ticking, and so the trip was spent worrying about how can I sort this out having no Spanish and having already paid. By the time we got to the hotel mine was on 49 euros and the other would be the same of course. However the taxi drivers just drove off.
I spent more than the occasional moment or two of my holiday worrying about the booked return trip but I have to say that was excellent - absolutely on time, no problem, but really what a start to a holiday
