Suntransfers.Com Never Again You don't Get What You Pay For

Having had the misfortune to use Suntransfers last year for the return airport trip from Faro to Albufeira I was less than happy having paid for a “Premium” taxi to have a non-premium taxi take us back to the airport on a return journey and not via the motorway as I had requested and paid for. Suntransfers on that occasion, August 2016 last year agreed to compensate me and gave me a further 10% discount on any future travel within the next 12 months. Now call me stupid if you like but this year I decided to give them the benefit of the doubt and take them up on the discount offered, that was the start of what could only be described as a monumental cock-up. The pick-up from Faro airport was not a premium vehicle, it was a Volkswagen Passat estate which was neat and tidy but to quote their own blurb from their website, “Door-to-door Premium Taxi service...Typically newer model Mercedes or Audi taxis offering extra comfort and refinement”. The Volkswagen is part of the VW-Audi group but it ain’t premium. The journey to Albufeira went without a hitch along the motorway and we arrived at our apartment in good time, overall not too bad but would’ve liked to see the vehicle we had paid for.
The return journey three weeks later couldn’t have been further from premium if they had tried, nor pleasant as the vehicle this time was an old beaten up Volkswagen Sharan which was filthy, smelly, threadbare, crammed full of junk and the windows were in serious need of a clean both inside and out and the inside roof of the car was disgusting. The journey took us through every little town, village and even some back roads before we got to the airport, we were in time for the flight which was the only bonus I could think of. I didn’t think Suntransfers could lower the bar from last year, sadly I was mistaken but, I never in my wildest imagination could’ve predicted just how low that bar was going to be lowered.
I can truthfully say I will never again trust Suntransfers with my business, you would have thought screwing it up once was a mistake but to do it the second year in a row and to an even worse degree is totally unforgiveable. Save your money and invest it anywhere but Suntransfers, they have shown they cannot be trusted and I doubt they will even care.
