From the first time I entered the website the service has been excellent. I had a bit of difficulty completing my payment online and the staff was very prompt with walking me thru the process. Our flight arrived early and we cleared immigration and customs very quickly (within 20mins) so we were about 40 mins ahead of time. The car company were generally helpful when I phoned up to book. However, I did not receive a confirmation email and when I phoned up to check that the car was coming,it turned out that they had booked for the following day! This obviously caused a lot of inconvenience (as was about midnight) and meant my fiancee and her sister had to get the Gatwick express instead. (read more)

Booked Hummingbird cars to take us from Gatwick to Heathrow to catch the last flight north. Hummingbird contacted us the day before we left to confirm booking again and the driver contacted me as I was departing the plane. We were delayed at baggage reclaim and the driver kept in contact. Our flight was delayed twice and there was a change in flight numbers. We arrived approximately 5 hours later than originally scheduled. The Hummingbird driver had tracked our changes and was waiting for us when we exited baggage claim. He was easy to find and had our name on a sign. The cars were very roomy and clean. I booked a taxi twice with this company,each time the drivers were there earlier and waiting for me.Very pleasant and helpfull.The second time i was late and almost miss my flight,totally my fault cause i booked the taxi later than i should,i call them one hour before our appointment and asked them if they could send the taxi earlier.The driver managed to come 10 minutes prior our appointment and when i told him i was late he did everything possible to get me to the airport safely and quick. Punctual with identification placard name on arrival, polite, and at drop off too again they waited ahead of time, and at both occasions the drivers loaded the heavy luggage and unloaded, without even mentioning they wanted a tip.
