We were travelling from Palma airport to Can Picafort and back. On the way there we were last drop off meaning that we went from Palma airport right up to Port De Pollensa then down the east coast, taking over 2 hours. For our return to the airport 5 days later, we were first pick up at 6.10pm for a 11.40pm flight. We spent 3 hours on the coach, which went right up to Calla Vincente before taking us to the airport. This is the third time we've used Holiday Taxis this year. Next year I will be comparing companies as I don't consider that 3 hours on a coach for a less than a 90 minutes transfer is acceptable.
We were under the impression that the transfer was no more than 90 minutes, as stated in the booking.
We were unable to have our evening meal as the restaurant at the hotel opened at 6.30pm. Had we been picked up at a sensible time we would have been able to eat a meal that had been paid for instead of having a Subway in the airport. We were lucky there also as the food outlets close at 10pm.
All in all, this was not a good experience. Even the driver was stressed as it seemed that he had too many pick ups, two of them had no people waiting.
