I booked with manchesterparking.com. They are a joke. They never turned up despite me calling 13 times . I called and emailed on my return and got no reply. I had to park in the £ 40 per day parking facility because I ran out of time . Never use them. They are a disgrace to Manchester Airport.

I booked my car into Car Park Manchester, arranged for the meet and greet service. Contacted as requested 20 minutes before arrival at Terminal 1, answered quickly and politely, was informed the driver would be there shortly. 20 minutes later and we were still waiting found out from other people; 1. a car had come back with all the front damaged and bumped; 2. a couple with 3 children had been waiting 3 hours and the company had only just advised them that they had lost their car; 3. a couple had left their keys in the car as they had been waiting over an hour and they were going to be late for their flight; I had numerous calls with them sometimes the line just rung out, other times it was answered to be told things such as the driver is on the ramp but there is a queue, only to look down the ramp to see no queue, etc. I witnessed fighting with one of the drivers as tensions were rising and due to the lack of frustration from all the anxiety from other customers, etc. I was asked by security to move my car otherwise I would be fined, I explained the problem and was told that this is a daily occurrence and the airport are trying their best to get the site, etc closed down. I was told that if I didn't move my car that I would be towed away by security. Security called the police to the various situations that were happening, especially around the fighting. I decided to park my car in long stay - as my daughter was starting to get frightened and also with the impending threat of my car being towed away - this resulted in me paying an extra £185 parking fees! Absolutely disgusted and appalled at the organisation Car Parking Manchester, which is also on the Compare Parking website - I have made a formal complaint but received no response.

I telephoned the company on 0161 436 3000 and agreed a price with an employee. I was then asked to confirm by E-mail which I did and received an E-mail confirmation from them agreeing to a price of £35.00. I rang back the next day with the flight details and spoke to a lady who was most unhelpful who advised that she woulod take my booking as the people I had previously spoken to had no authority to quote a price. She said she was the Manager. She then said she would do a booking at £55.00. The official web site quoted £45.00. They are not interested in their customers and looking to make a quick pound at all costs. the attitude of the Mansger was very very poor.
