Ben316's review of Heathrow, Drive Fly

“CRASHED MY CAR - won't do anything about it”

★☆☆☆☆

written by Ben316 on 16/04/2015

I will try to be objective here. DRIVEFLY are the WORST company I have ever dealt with, across all aspects and encounters in my life. Here are the bullet points;

* DRIVEFLY CRASHED MY CAR
* Tried not to show me the damage
* I have full photographic evidence and witnesses
* They will not return my calls or emails
* They will in no way acknowledge or pay for the damage
* I am taking them to small claims court, it is my only remaining option

So to summarise, you will find positive reviews on here because I am sure that, more often that not, they will do the job. BUT you are playing Russian Roulette with your car because in the event that something goes wrong YOU WILL GET NOTHING FROM THIS COMPANY. No service, no money, no respect, no decency.

I do not often write reviews and I am not one of these people (perhaps I should be) that is too passionate about my consumer rights, I often take the approach that 'these things happen' and I let a lot go without a fight. But this is not one of those things. I work hard to buy a nice car, pay fair money for a service and then have a 'company' do this. They are barely even a company, they have no respect for customers, the law or their own terms and conditions.

PLEASE PEOPLE - do not ruin your holiday. Use the official service at your respective airport. Do not be fooled by a hundred good reviews, it isn't difficult to park a car so they will have positive reviews. Read the bad ones and decide if they should be in your car.

Ncallaghan's Response to Ben316's Review

Hi just read your review, I know how you feel. I was contacted by Heathrow Police by letter regarding my car being parked in an unsecure field with no security . Included in the letter was photographic evidence of my car unlocked. My car had been scraped on the bumper, but this was only visible in daylight after collecting it. DriveFly will not accept responsibility. However, the Police are investigating with trading standards DriveFly. You could make a statement which would contribute to the case.
