We booked our car into Luton airport through APH who we have used before and not had a problem. Unfortunately this time we did have very poor service. We were booked with SwiftPark at Luton to drop the car was ok but on colletion we called when we landed and were told 10 - 15mins in the car park. After waiting 20mins we called again to be told its on its way, another 10mins. A SwiftPark attendant arrived in another car we asked what was happening with ours he mumbled something and walked off !! He then got in another car and drove off completly ignoring us. An attendand from another meet & greet service asked why we had been waiting so long, we explained, he called our SwiftPark as they use the same parking area, and was told the car battery was flat and they had to get the car out from the back of the parking area. Surely the whole point of leaving your flught details is that they keep an eye on the flight times and ensure your car is there ready and waiting when you arrive back.
Eventuall after 58mins our car arrived, being driven by the man who had been there half and hr before!! Again he thrust a clipboard at me and muttered something and walked off to talk to a friend, i follwoed him and asked what he wanted me to do with theclipboard, ''just sign and pay £1 fee'' is what i was told. We were so cold and fed up by this stage i did exactly that.
The next day i emailed APH to advise of the complete lack of any customer service we received and the long long delay. To date i have had no repsonse from either SwiftPark or APH...........I will NOT be using either again and will NOT be recommending to friends.
