Do not use this company - BE AWARE!!!!! I booked my car into this Company to be picked up on 28th Dec 2012 (I booked it on 22nd Oct). I had no confirmation from then that this had been booked so I tried calling them. No reply!!!! So I emailed them....no reply!! since then I've made SEVERAL phone calls. “Still waiting for refund”

Very disappointed with this company. Problems with booking, confirmation didn't arrive until a few days after. Because of a computer problem there was a double booking; I am still waiting for the refund more than a month after the date. It took more than 20 minutes until the driver arrived, both at departure and arrival, appr 30 minutes. I tried to phone several times to ask about the refund but there is no answer. (read more)

Well finally reached Julie at 21.30 hours on 12-10-2012. She promised to send an email with an apology and a refund. E mail checked and apology recieved together with a copy of the refund. Now waiting for the funds to clear as of 15-10-2012.

AVOID AVOID AVOID.... Rip off merchants. Promise to email confirmation of booking, bu when you dare to ask the day before you are supposed to meet them, their rep becomes abusive and swears at you. Then tells you that your order will be cancelled but you wont be eligible for a refund!!! ]

I have now used adp parking for a number of years and have always been fairly happy and returned to the cheap service. One thing i have learned as a regular gatwick user is that this business seems very cut throat with the bigger firms trying to give others a bad reputation and steel their customers. Every now and then when the bad reviews are coming thick and fast a rogue good review appears on this site. I must admit they are getting better its normally some one who doesn't write English very well. I think you are naive to think that people will believe that almost 90 reviews in less than a year are made up to put a company out of business. For anyone that might be swayed by your ridiculous comments may I suggest you try to post a made up bad review on this site. All negative reviews are verified.I had to send in proof of out of pocket expenses of which there were £560.00 and all the emails between myself and ADP before my review was posted. Anyone looking at this site should be very sceptical of your review which seems to slander other companies more than it supports ADP. If you are uncertain do a search on the owner of ADP parking and then see if you want to give her your hard earned cash and more importantly your car,. And if you still think its such a bargain you cant afford not to, take a very warm coat for your long wait and have lots of extra cash available for your alternative journey home and the parking tickets that could arrive through your letterbox a week later

Oh how I had read these reviews myself before booking with these ADP sharks. I went for what seemed like a great deal: Drop your car off at the Gatwick terminal and it will be there for you when you get back from your trip, all for the same price as regular off-site parking. Terrible decision! My drop-off went off smoothly but on returning I could not get hold of them. Initially it just rang and then was engaged for 2 AND HALF HOURS! Fell for the cheap price & when no confirmation e-mail arrived I read the reviews - TO LATE. Trust me, you got off lightly. Like myself and many other people on this site you could have ended up with bills running into hundreds of pounds if they had taken your car and lost it or if they hadn't turned up at all and you had to pay again to another company or miss your flight.I know its not what you want to hear but don't waste your time on it you won't get your money back put it down to a lucky escape!!

“Still Waiting for Expenses Refund frm April 2012.”

I booked because they were cheap, big mistake! My car was not returned on time and actually turned up 2 days later after leaving me standing at Gatwick for 6 hours! I met with Millie who told me she would refund the out of pocket expenses of a hire car and extra fuel for the return journey. I had a similarproblem. I received no email confirmation of my booking. Hence I tried to contact them (there was only a ridiculous message system with CAPTCHA, no phone numbers) This didnot work. There were no phone calls from them at any time.

“Missed our flight and ruined a holiday to Italy for 8 !”

No answer the night before or the morning of. Turned up to Gatwick and they were not there! We had 2 cars and 4 children! We didn't know what to do! We asked around and was told about ADPs reputation. I can't believe I trusted them. By the time, we parked in long stay, caught a bus with all our luggage, they wouldn't check us in and we missed our flight! The 'nice lady inthe office' never answers the phones in my experience (and in many others' experience), nor has she responded to countless Emails and a registered letter.

I also would like a refund from the "nice lady in the office" as I cancelled the service back in June and am still waiting for my refund. I finally received an email to say that the cheque was in the post. Off I went on holiday happy to think the issue had finally been resolved after sending countless emails and leaving messages. When I returned there was no cheque waiting for me as promised and now I can't get through to the number as constantly engaged and no one is replying to my emails!! we contacted ADP when we arrived and they said phone back when you have your cases. We phoned again to say we had cases and on our way out, we contacted them 7 more times after that standing in the rain late at night. The excuse was the police block, there was lots of people waiting for their cars but in the end we was lift waiting on our own. Our car was the only one stopped !! I don't think so. Please can you provide the name / contact details (telephone, Email address etc) for Surrey Trading Standards?

I have been passed from pillar to post by West Sussex and other Gatwick local T/Standards and Citizens Advice - not one of them wanting to take responsibility for my complaint.
I have also been told that private consumers are not able to raise issues with Trading Standards directly - they are required to go through Citizens Advice (who are worse than useless).

I am awaiting a refund from ADP following a cancellation 2 months ago - I have sent countless Emails, a recorded delivery letter and tried telephoning scores of times (no answer).

A warning to all. Do not use ADP Parking at Gatwick as they didn't turn up! I e-mailed 24 hours prior to flight as requested, and called when I was 20 mins away. The driver confirmed he would be there. When we arrived there were several people in front already waiting that were on the same flight. After waiting for over an hour, we had to use another company, or miss the flight as check in had already opened. This was early April, I am still chasing up a refund! Thanks Karen (read more)

Arrived back at Gatwick 2 am 15/4/2012 numerious phone calls later with no reply we were told by a man from Maple Manor to phone the police which we did they advised us to get a taxi home and start ringing at 8 am which we did. “SHAMBOLIC BUNCH OF CONMEN !!!!”

This company need to be shut down ASAP.... Why are the Police or trading standards doing something about this. I got away lightly compared with some other customers, but I am still out of pocket by £154. When I attempted to leave my car with them I waited 1 and half hours to be met. Thanks so much to you and previous reviewers for the warnings. I made a booking error and was completely unable to contact these people by email or phone. Although ironically the only time I called the mobile number I got through to a guy who said there was nobody in the office, maybe tomorrow somebody would be there. Having read all these terrible reviews I have rebooked with official parking, twice the price but at least I won't have the horrorshow of no meet and a multi-hour wait for the (quite likely damaged) car on return. Have seen that police and TSB have had many complaints, maybe Tony Hetherington at Mail on Sunday could get something done. So this isn't a review, simply a message of gratitude to all of you who took the time to write reviews.

“How the hell are ADP still allowed to operate???”

I too had the misfortune of booking with ADP and after returning from our holiday and waiting over 3 hours for a car to be returned, and countless calls to them and then to the Police (who were aware of the situation but didnt want to know) we had to get a taxi back home at a cost of £110. I reported this company to trading standards over 3 weeks ago and told them to close them down that afternoon. It would appear that they couldn't care less. My dispute is now with Paypal and hopefully I will get my money back. So far ADP haven't uttered a word in defence and I don't expect them to either.

“Trying to cancel my reservation and obtain a refund”

I made a reservation via the internet and in Terms and conditions it says refunds available up to 48 hours in advance of travel. Well I've been trying to achieve this by phone and e-mail for a month now and not one reply has been sent by them. Absolutley appalling services (read more)

I also have this problem too I did eventually get someone to answer there mobile phone bus passes the buck and said he wasn't at the office and he would let them know when he got back lol thats two weeks now and still no reply also sent a recorded letter which they didn't collect either I have contacted my credit card company goodluck

I have already been in contact with Watchdog about this bunch of buffoons. They(the BBC) want to talk with me. I couldnt get in touch with them either on my return . eventually was told that i would have to return to the airport ( I was in a cab which cost me £35) to collect the car !! I finally got my car back at 5.30 in the evening . I had returned from our holiday at 1.30 that morning . I have sent a letter with copies of my taxi receipt, train ticket and screen grabs of all the phone calls I made trying to get in touch with them. Let's get this lot closed down and prosecuted for malpractice!

The Airport Valet Parking Contractors Association (AVPCA) has been set up to identify reputable Gatwick valet parking companies - we vet all companies prior to joining. This disgraceful company should be shut down by Trading Standards. We booked their meet and greet service to collect our car from Gatwick at 1pm on Sat 14 April, to return it on 22 April. We followed their instructions and emailed them 24 hours prior to to our ETA and then called them 20 minutes prior to arriving. I had a similar experience, also stuck waiting with 2 kids for 3 hours for our car to be returned. After countless phonecalls, I had to keep phoning since mostly the number was engaged or just not working, I gave up and went to the information desk. The person there phoned around and not only were several other customers stuck like me one of the traffic wardens had an employee of the company there with them. This person refused to get on the phone with the information desk receptionist initially and when finally they did the driver simply told the receptionist to tell me to go away until tomorrow and try again then to retrieve my car. eventually the information desk was putting us all on the phone to the police to report, what by then, was technically car theft. Sussex police had already put a memo around to all their staff warning that this was happening and apparently it was the result of a disgruntled staff member blocking the entrance to the yard not letting anyone in and out (ADP told me it was a customer). I also found out that the same thing had happened 2 mights before, many people stranded, but that time it was apparently due to an employee going home with the safe keys so no one could access the car keys to return them. ADP had promised me a refund but after I got my car back finally the simply ignored all communication from me. I put a dispute in with paypal (whith I had already warned them would happen) and minutes after they recieved the email from paypal they refunded my money. Oh I also made the driver give me £10 for coffee which ADP also promised after our 3 hours of post holiday hell. They were cheap, apparently an intorductory offer and I guess you get what you pay for.

I wish i had read all these complaints/reviews before I booked ADP, Between 2 phones we called 97 times for our car to be collected, I had to find alternative parking, or miss my plane. On my return, ADP refuses to answer my calls or mails. luckily i paid via paypal, and my refund is due soon. this cowboy company is ruining peoples holidays, Gatwick airport should intervine and ban the company from thier premises,as their bad business actions reflect on the airport. I am waiting for a refund of £1660 arghhhh for scratches made to my car and a lost key and taxi's to and from the airport.. Disaster but although I have had a nightmare and they cost me a day out of my life if the story is true I cant help but feel sorry for the person who owns the company because of some idiot who wanted revenge they well and truly have a terrible name and are likely to be closed down!!

We booked and paid for a weeks booking from14/4/12. We eventually managed to get through to ADP's number on the way to the airport and confirmed our arrival time. They didnt show up and having waited 50 mins we had to use the long term car park at full price. I have asked for a refund of my fee to ADP and the cost of the long term car park. I had made a booking and paid £45 for my car to be parked by ADP. I read the reviews a little too late and decided to cancel our booking . I also have tried to cancel - I have telephoned numerous times and completed the Website Contact form 3 or 4 times. I have also sent a recorded delivery letter. No response to anything.

My bank (I used a Visa credit card through ADP's Paypal service) tells me that they are unable to effect a 'chargeback' (ie a reimbursement) because I cancelled the service - had I turned up at the airport and no service provided I could have been reimbursed by the bank.
Paypal are useless - they cannot help because the service is not a 'tangible' good.
Trading Standards are useless and appear to be sitting on their hands - as it is consumers now have to go through Citizens Advice to get to Trading Standards.
We should all contact Watchdog - this business needs to be exposed for what they are.

If you paid through Paypal, start a claim with them, I got a refund no problem. It caused me a lot of grief though, 4 weeks of being ignored by ADP. They are a total disgrace! Good luck.

Sounds like I was one of the lucky ones....I just waited three and a half hours! This was April 10th. They weren't answering either of the numbers for most of this time. The guy next to me waiting for his car was told they 'couldn't find his keys'......!!!! They sent him a taxi! I wonder who paid? Sounds to me like this company is way, way, way out of their depth. “ADP - The worst parking experience ever!”

These guys have no integrity or sense of decency. We had to ring them for 30 minutes after we picked up our luggage. The mobile number was "pinged" several times, ie declined. Eventaully the woman who seems to run the show who was clearly asleep answered and told us to make our way in the freezing cold to the meeting place. “We got caught too!!!”

We booked on-line in March for last week. Were not met so had to park in BA long term parking at a cost of £104 for the week. Add that to the money already taken by ADP - a very expensive 'cheap' deal. Now claiming through PAypal so await the outcome. Don't use them at all!!! They are still trading. HOW CAN THIS BE, WE ASK. I reported them to trading standards two weeks ago and told them that they should go that afternoon and shut them down. It would appear that trading standards blow a lot of hot air. Hopefully these reviews in the meantime will prevent any new business.

Like the previous report i also had the misfortune of using ADP over the Easter period. Upon my return to Gatwick on Suday 15th April at midnight the same scenario took place. The contact Millie blatently lied to me on a number of occassions regarding the situation and could not give me a plausable reason to why my car had not been returned to me wthin the appointed time. 4hrs later i was no better off, infact £110 lighter for my troubles due to the cost of the taxi fare to return home. “ADP Parking - What a Nightmare!”

ADP Parking were 45 minutes late picking up my car when we arrived at Gatwick at the start of our holiday. They were abusive on the phone when I called to ask where they were. When we got back after our trip we couldn't get a reply on the number they gave us to get the car back. After 1.5 hours Gatwick staff called the police.
