We flew to Barbados and back on 15th-25th March 2012 respectively flying premium economy. The flights were more or less on time. On the way out the flight attendant seemed to be more interested in some 'likely lads' than serving the meals. Don't think she's ever seem a man before !! On the return trip we had screaming children for 7 hours. Not the kids fault but the parents need to think about other people before subjecting their children to such long flights. It amazed me how the one mother could just ignore the seat belt sign as well ! Obviously the same instructions do not apply if you are travelling with children! All this was in Premium Econmoy too. Thank goodness I had an MP3 player to partially block out the racket. Will not be flying Virgin again unless they put all the kids in a separate compartment with soundproofing.

That is so silly, as if mothers can do anything if they need to fly anywhere. What, put the kids in the cargo area! Sheesh. I do believe that parents should be prepared and have some control over their kids when on a flight, but in terms of any airline ever having a "separate compartment" for them...well, you can keep dreaming...

how ignorant i am taking 4 kids on a flight from the uk to america soon and i have flown this far before with kids one being just 18 months at the time. i just hope i dont get sat next to an ignorant snob like you that suggests i may want to put my kids in the cages with animals. either you are not a mother or you had them perfect children that i long for !

Funny you should say that Guests 1, 2 and 3....

Malaysian Airlines are trialling separate 'child free cabins' on the upper deck of their A380s. About time too...
