Virgin Atlantic cancelled our connecting flight from London to Ireland and didnt tell any of the 40 or so passengers that this effected prior to disembarking from the plane, We were delayed in Orlando due to weather storm (1hr delay) but when i asked the air stewerdess she assured me we would be in time for our connection and that we would be rushed through to get our connection when we landed(we did have 2 hours stop over in Gatwick)When we landed in Gatwick we practically ran through security to departures where we were to get on an Aer Lingus flight. When we arrived 15min early for boarding (the flight wasnt due for boarding until 10.20am we were at the desk at 10.05) we were told an announcement was made on the VCirgin flight informing us that our connecting flight was cancelled (imagine them telling us over 40 passengers were lying) there was no announcement,we breeched airport security because we re-entered the security area after going through it, not our fault we have to re-check in for a later flight at 2.40pm, we were refused any food/drink voucher by the representative as virgin blamed aer lingus and aer lingus blamed virgin. After flying all throught the night with no sleep and faced with this hassle i would certainly no advise anyone to fly with Virgin.
