Connecting to Burbank through San Fran today, last two flights to Burbank cancelled without explanation. Found a "service" person who verified no more flights until the next morning. Offered no other options. We asked if they would at least put us up in a hotel. Sorry but the delay he said was because iof air traffic, so nothing they would do. I pressed to talk to a supervisor, he pointed at a door across the hall and said to go talk to someone else. I refused, saying that he will bring someone to us while we wait. He did, and a supervisor came, made a call and said it was a mechanical problem and that UA would put us up and pay for our meals after all. I demanded to be put on another flight to LAX, which they did. No offer to shuttle me to Burbank to pick up my car, no real apology for the unbelievable hassle to many passengers. And so quick to call the issue traffic, so he wouldn't have to pay to put us up. The way he brushed it off with "nothing I can do," was amazing. It wasn't until I got feisty did he do anything. Never will I fly UA!
