The idea of flying to the Bahamas for winter break is great! However, start to check in at Newark airport and you know there will be an issue when you need to leave your bag in a baggage pen - or "baggage drop". Seems the folks who are paid by united cannot read nor process numbers - as they cannot get bags marked PRIORITY in big red tickets onto the correct plane. So - I'm in the Bahamas with my jeans, long sleeves and sandals - but nothing else - because I chose to PAY to have my luggage underneath and not fight the crowds! . And my two kids - the same! The priority extra room seats were awful, the stewardess rude, and they separated my family without asking - even though for 6 months we had these seats and we obliged with 2 hours of early check in for international travel. What a joke this airline is. I fly all over the world, and it's no wonder I try to avoid united at all costs . And to think I still have priority status with them . This is how they treat "loyal" customers. Needless to say - my bags were not on the next two flights out of Newark either. Hmmm - wonder where my bags will travel. Lookout United. Your stock will crumble. You provide terrible customer service. Your employees deserve a better company. Your customers deserve a better company. If you lose my luggage - and my kids luggage - you should make every effort to be nice and understand that you have f'd up 600 a night per room vacation. Please expect my expenses - and they certainly exceed the 75 dollars per bag you say i can spend. what a joke! Toothpaste and toothbrush alone is 20 dollars! Hoping I have my luggage by Christmas !
