I was not able to take a flight, so I had to re-book (due to not getting our passports back in time). When I re-booked they told me that they would process my ticket request over the phone. They pressed the delete button instead of processing the tickets. At 2 weeks to my vacation date, I realized that they never processed the tickets and they ALSO deleted my airline ticket credit. No vacation and no airline credit. I filed a complaint with the BBB, and United treated me like they did me a favor finding my airline credit minus re-booking fees of $150 per ticket. They did not apologize and then stated that my "confirming travel plans" was not worthy of getting a full refund back of airline credit for my frustration and lost time. United Airlines thinks deleting your flight, airline credit, and forcing you to complain through BBB as "confirming travel plans". They are really sick sick people. The BBB resolved my case in their system even though I was obviously being insulted, manipulated, went through hell with United, and I did not agree with the outcome. The BBB has them listed as a A- grade airlines. Does the BBB even read the complaints that it processes???? Has the whole world gone crazy?????
