It would appear that Thomson have pared their flights to the bone. No entertainment, not even radio was ridiculous. When I asked the attendant whether anything was going to appear on the tv screens, her reply was "No, because most people brought something with them." Well sorry but not everyone has an ipod, mp3 player so that was a very boring flight. The seat space was tight to say the least. I'm only 5ft 7" but sitting up straight with my bottom to the back of the seat just about gave me a bit of room to twiddle my legs. Putting a paperback in the netting bag infront of my legs meant that they were touching it. No wonder so many people chose to stand in the aisles or near the doors chatting. I've done alot of longhaul flights before but was never more concious of the threat of DVTs than on this one. We were dreading the return for several days before. Felt very claustrophobic. But no doubt Thomsons are rubbing their hands together all the way to the bank! We did a Thomson cruise with this flight but would VERY seriously look at a UK sailing to avoid being treated like cattle!
