My husband and I travelled to Turkey during August with Thomson Fly who we have used many times before. This time on check-in (we were actually very early no-one else there) we were told that we would have to sit apart as all other seats had been pre-booked. However, when we got on the plane, my seat was between a mother and her daughter, with their teenage son sitting two rows in front in the same row as my husband!! We had intentionally been seated apart and this was an obvious ploy to get people to pay the extra to sit together on the return flight. As it turned out, the lady asked if her son could take my seat (excellent) and I took her sons seat and ended up sitting with my husband in the end. Come on Thomson, stop playing silly games - you could have seated us together but obviously chose not to! When we left the plane we were even told of a 5 year old that couldn't sit with their parents (initially)....... You're better than this !!!

I would agree, we have recently flown back from Girona and my daughter of 8 who is a TYPE 1 diabetic, recently diagnosed was made to sit on her own 2 rows back from me, even though we were the first coach to check in at the airport, unfortunately the staff at Girona were very slow and took over an hour to check us in. Thomson's where aware of this hidden disability.
