I have phoned, e mailed and written to Thomas Cook regarding compensation for a 7 hour delay on my flight and they have not had the common courtesy to reply. When I speak to them on the phone they tell me to call back in a week, this has been going on for 6 weeks. I would not normally look for compensation but such a long delay meant that both myself and my partner lost a day's wages. I could have got a cheaper flight but thought that Thomas Cook would be a more reliable and reputable option. I was obviously mistaken.
